The library is particularly enchanting, featuring an impressive bookcase with a secret door leading into the hall and the castle's remarkable flying staircase. A full-size snooker table provides evening entertainment, while a cosy sitting room offers a more relaxed retreat, complete with board games and a large TV with Netflix and other entertainment.

For an authentic taste of Irish culture, traditional musicians from the local area can be arranged to perform in the hall before dinner, creating a memorable atmosphere of Irish music, storytelling and hospitality. The Drawing Room

After exploring the gardens and parkland, the elegant drawing room provides the perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks. Six large windows flood the room with natural light and offer beautiful views towards the estuary.

After dinner, guests can return here for coffee and lemon verbena tea before continuing into the adjoining library for an evening of conversation and snooker.

The Dining Room

The magnificent dining room, with its deep claret walls and baronial oak furnishings, can accommodate up to 35 guests for a memorable private dinner.

As the sun sets over the estate, candlelight reflects from the castle's collection of gleaming silver, creating a truly magical setting for celebrations, family gatherings and special occasions. The walls are adorned with portraits of former Knights of Glin, including some of the family's more colourful and eccentric characters.

For larger celebrations and wedding parties, dinner can be arranged in the grand hall, accommodating up to 65 guests. Traditional Irish dancing can also be arranged, with performances taking place on the castle's beautiful polished wooden floor.
