7-room villa 250 m2 on 2 levels. Partly renovated in 2017, practical and tasteful furnishings: entrance hall. Large living/dining room with panoramic window with satellite TV. Exit to the terrace. Kitchen (4 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, freezer, electric coffee machine). Sep. WC. Upper floor: walk-through room with hip bath/bidet/WC. 1 double bedroom. 1 room with 1 bed. 2 rooms, each room with 2 beds. Open living room with 2 sofabeds. Small kitchen (freezer, electric coffee machine). 2 baths/bidet/WC. Gas heating (extra). Heating available only from 15.10. to 15.04. Wooden floors. Terrace 100 m2. Terrace furniture. Very beautiful view of the lake and the town. Facilities: washing machine, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Lake Maggiore Villa 1010
Villa "Lake Maggiore Villa 1010", built in 1950. 800 m from the centre of Laveno, 200 m from the lake, in a cul-de-sac. Private: garden 500 m2 with lawn. Motor access to the house. Roofed, parking (for 2 cars). Supermarket 1 km, restaurant, bar 500 m, railway station "Laveno" 800 m, ferry "Laveno - Verbania" 800 m. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Holiday Rentals in Porto Valtravaglia, 9 km.

Raymond R. July 2018Four adults and two children felt very comfortable in this spacious, nicely modern villa. Everybody loved the terrace, and played lots of table football. The large windows, the upstairs balcony, and the terrace afford a lovely view of the lake, and of the passing ferries. There is no beach in the immediate vicinity, but it only takes a short drive to the nearest one, which also has a good restaurant. There are plenty of bathrooms, and everybody enjoyed their separate bedrooms. The kitchen is well appointed, but lacked basic spices such as sugar and salt - surely the management could afford to leave some there for new arrivals. Laveno is only walking distance away, though carrying groceries on a hot day isnot recommended. Our only complaint is the absurd check-in procedure: it requires that guests drive to an obscure tiny village some 10 km away, and locate an obscure address, in order to do paperwork that could just as well be completed at the villa, since a manager has to open up the villa anyway. This check-in procedure was ridiculously unncecessary and very annoying after a long day of travelling.
