Spacious and bright, cosy and wooden furniture furnishings: living/dining room 35 m2 with open-hearth fireplace, cable TV, digital TV, international TV channels, flat screen, radio, CD-player, hi-fi system, DVD and tiled stove. Exit to the balcony. 1 room 20 m2 with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen 12 m2 (oven, dishwasher, 5 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, freezer, electric coffee machine, raclette grill, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC. On the lower ground floor: 1 room 28 m2 with 1 double sofabed (130 cm, length 200 cm), 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm), cable TV and flat screen. 1 room 15 m2 with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Exit to the garden. Bath/WC, double hand-basin. Upper floor: 1 room 14 m2 with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). 2 rooms 16 m2, with sloping ceilings, ceiling height 160 - 215 cm, each room with 1 french bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Shower/WC. Balcony 35 m2. Balcony furniture, deck chairs (6), box-room. Marvellous view of the mountains and the countryside. In the centre of Lauterbrunnen, in a central, quiet, sunny position on a slope. Private: garden 500 m2. Garden furniture, barbecue. In the house: storage room for skis, central heating system, washing machine, tumble dryer, ski boot dryer. Linen change (suppl. charge extra). Towel change (suppl. charge extra). It is well located in the centre of the village but off the main road in a vey quiet location with great views of the valley and the Staubach Waterfall. The chalet is spacious and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom on the ground floor has no working lock on the door. This does not appear to have changed from my first visit. Also a shower curtain or screen would be useful to have in there as well. But in all a good place to stay and a great location.

This was my second stay in this chalet the first being in June 2014. It is well located in the centre of the village but off the main road in a vey quiet location with great views of the valley and the Staubach Waterfall. The chalet is spacious and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the bathroom on the ground floor has no working lock on the door. This does not appear to have changed from my first visit.
